Coming soon to Arts on the Lake

Note this Friday - new play by Ron Hutchinson

Part of Theatre Connections 2018

Elvis is thirty three.
His movie career has tanked.
He's not making hit records any more.
Unexpectedly, a Christmas TV special gives him a chance to get back on the map.
Lookin' for Trouble, a new play with music, examines the deals we make with ourselves in pursuit of what we think we're supposed to want.

Directed by Alice Jankell (who brought us Comfortable Life).

The cast includes Jos Vantyler (photo above), who is flying from London to play Elvis Presley, Larry Mitchell as Trey Tyler and James Shearwood as Colonel Parker.

Choreographer: Adam Cates.

Assistant Choreographer: Melissa Strain.

Stage Manager: Carrie Ford.

Now in print, signed copies of Clinging to the Iceberg, which Hutchinson premiered at AotL last March, will be available at the performance.

Coming up in Connections 2018:

Saturday, June 2
Inheritors (revival) by Susan Glaspell.

Trip to Paradise Blue by Dominique Morisseau on Saturday, May 5 (Add-on ticket charge of $32 - $35 plus train or private transportation).
