Volunteer
Arts on the Lake is sustained by its volunteers. Volunteers distribute posters, manage concessions, sell tickets, wash cups, hang shows, help with classes, organize concerts, fund-raise and stack chairs at the end of most performances.
You can be an occasional volunteer or a regular volunteer. Occasional volunteers print flyers from our website and invite their neighbors to participate in activities sponsored by Arts on the Lake.
Generally, anything that needs to be done at the Center can be done by a volunteer. Some of our most needed tasks have been done by a volunteer who offered to clean that corner, fix that faucet, repair that chair and write that story.
Volunteer Opportunities at Arts on the Lake (as of Feb 23)
A challenging and creative position for a volunteer to work with instructors and staff to promote Arts on the Lake educational offerings. You'll use marketing, public relations and project management skills as you facilitate advertisements, articles, flyers and other aspects of communication about the education program. The time commitment is about 6-10 hours per month.
Program Ad SalesJoin our fund-raising team and connect with local business to encourage new and renewing advertisers to support the arts in the community by placing ads in the Arts on the Lake program. Our program is updated quarterly and distributed at events attended each year by over 2800 people.
