A Comfortable Life

Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 8:00 pm

Coming soon to Arts on the Lake

A new play by Pamela Weiler Grayson

Part of Theatre Connections 2018

The Hastings, a family of highly-educated, New England intellectuals, had planned on a comfortable life, but now Lizzie at 31 has come home to live and David at 29 has never left. And the boy Lizzie knew in high school is now an attractive college-educated plumber earning more than any of them. It's a contemporary problem illuminated by laughter.

Discussion with the playwright following.

Directed by Alice Jankell.

With actors Gregory Mark Bennett, Zack Buell, Katie Lawson, Melanie Mitchell, Jack Mulcahy and James Shearwood.

Stage Manager for this event: Carrie Ford

Other plays in Connections 2018:

Friday, April 13

Lookin' for Trouble (new) by Ron Hutchinson.

Saturday, June 2

Inheritors (revival) by Susan Glaspell.

Trip to Paradise Blue by Dominique Morisseau (Signature Theatre, NYC) on Saturday, May 5.

Members are encouraged to subscribe to the series for the extra benefits of being part of a growing group awareness of the connections between the plays and to be part of the Theatre Trip (add-on ticket charge of $32-$35 plus train or private transportation).

About the Event
