Experimenting with various materials and media, children will develop skills and explore their individual areas of creative interest. A variety of materials and techniques will be explored, including watercolor, tempera, mixed media, clay and cray-pas, as well as printmaking and fibers. Learning about great artists and their works will also be a part of this class, as well as occasional visits and informal tutorials from artists affiliated with AotL. All materials are included in the course tuition. There will be no class February 23.

About the Instructor
Mary Schreiber
Mary Schreiber holds an M.S. from Bank Street College of Education. She has led classes for both adults and children in collage, mask-making, drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her art work incorporates various media, including sculpture, drawing and puppetry.
