Arts on the Lake's Lake Writers invite you to join for their annual Coffeehouse Open-Mic reading on Sunday 13th of September.
Join the group in welcoming fall with a casual afternoon of original stories and poetry. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.

For those not familiar, Lake Writers meets the first Wednesday of every month at Arts on the Lake since 2012. Writers of fiction, non-fiction, essays, and poetry share their work-in-progress for incisive, honest feedback in a workshop setting.
It's a congenial and supportive group (currently 11 writers) with a very effective chemistry. There's a waiting list, but those folks have to be patient as openings don't often occur.
Lake Writers maintains a blog called Tales from the Lake. They invite those on the waiting list and all of the Lake Carmel, Kent and the Carmel community to submit work to our blog. (Directions for doing so are on the blog.)
