Friends of Classical Music Event - The Oldfather / Wyman Duo - 4Hands at the Piano

Our 2022 Friends of Classical Music Series season begins with this event. Please join the Friends of Classical Music to support this program, especially as we honor Midhat Serbagi, our founder, who passed away this year. The third concert in the series, on August 21st, will be performed in his honor.
The 2022 Friends of Classical Music program begins with the unusual duo of Christopher Oldfather and Tedo Wyman playing 4Hands. This is music that requires two people playing the same piano. This intimate form of performance is something this husband and wife team have been presenting for over 25 years.
Both are accomplished individual performers as well. Oldfather, a three time Grammy nominee, is a critically acclaimed interpreter of contemporary music, has an international career as a soloist and chamber musician and has appeared with the MET Chamber Players, the San Francisco Symphony, and Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt. T edo is an accompanist, chamber musician, and published poet.
