This is the Inagural LIMNI Live at the Lake Series

Carly Simon, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon, four songwriting giants, created some of the most endearing and lasting music of our time. Anne Carpenter and Peter Calo along with John Lissauer visit their immense library of music, performing classics as well as deep tracks. Join Anne and Peter for an intimate and informal evening of great music. Join in song!


Peter Calo has been Carly Simon’s guitar player and backing vocalist, musical director and occasional producer and even song collaborator for the last 20 plus years.

Peter Calo has performed and/or recorded with such diverse artists as, Dionne Warwick, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson, Hall and Oates, Sophie B. Hawkins, Andrea Bocelli, Jimmy Webb, Kris Kristofferson, Leonard Bernstein, Marc Shaiman, Julie Taymor, Lesley Gore, Crash Test Dummies, Harvey Fierstein and more.

 

Anne Carpenter, is a bright star on the Westchester music scene. Anne, a singer/songwriter who has had her songs recorded by such artists as Sloan Wainwright. She has been performing as a duo with Peter Calo for the past three and a half years (including virtually during the past year) presenting the music of artists such as Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Paul Simon and James Taylor. John Lissauer
Joining us will be award winning composer and producer on multi reeds, John Lissauer. At the age of 19, he arranged the first recordings of Al Jarreau. John went on to produce and arrange a pair of hugely successful Leonard Cohen albums. John produced and arranged the first, iconic recording of Hallelujah. It was also featured in the film Watchmen. In 2019, John was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for producing, arranging and conducting the first recording of "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. He is also a Clio award winning composer.

We have made the LIMNI Live at the Lakes concert series as a pay-as-you-wish series. We appreciate your generous donations that enable us to continue the series.

 

Concerts are rain or shine and may be held indoors if it is severe weather. They start at 7 PM. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, food and drink to the concerts. Parking is limited so we suggest arriving at least 20 minutes before the concert.
