For children ages 5 to 12
Children in this class will create artwork with materials found in nature. They will make paints from flowers and plants, and use shells, moss, seedpods, and pinecones to create unique and unusual pieces of art.
Children will learn about the artist Andy Goldsworthy and imitate his style of sculpture.
The emphasis will be on the process of creation and stretching imaginations.
All materials provided by nature or by the instructor.

About the Instructor
Mary Schreiber
Mary Schreiber holds an M.S. from Bank Street College of Education. She has led classes for both adults and children in collage, mask-making, drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her art work incorporates various media, including sculpture, drawing and puppetry.
