Feehan Serious Jazz Sundays: The Saints of Swing

Arts on the Lake is pleased to announce that the Feehan Insurance Agency is supporting the Feehan Serious Jazz Sundays music series. Opening the series is The Saints of Swing with noted vocalist, Marty Elkins.*

Saints Of Swing specialize "in eclectic and electric selections of foot-tappin' Swing classics,  Hot N' Cool Jazz served up however you like it - from spicy New Orleans Dixieland style (complete with a dancin' tuba player!) to elegant New York City sizzlers." 

Marty has involved with the New York Jazz scene for many years, playing with many different musicians and at various Jazz Clubs. In 2013 she was invited to be part of the Jazz, Blues and Gospel Festival at the Las Vegas Hilton and did a tour of Germany with the Martin Sasse Trio after the release of her first CD, “Fuse Blues”, which was critically acclaimed. “Marty Elkins runs her own voodoo down. The Saints of Swing members, jazz professionals,  have played with many noted musicians. David Winograd leads the group on bass and tuba, Dale Demarco on sax and clarinet; Barry Bryson, on trumpet; Ken Foy on trombone; Peter Tomlinson on piano; and Larry Balestra, on drums.

A complimentary glass of champagne will be offered and coffee, and pastries will be available for purchase.
