Friends of Classical Music Event

Having received a standing ovation for his extraordinary performance last year, the Friends of Classical Music are pleased to have virtuoso violinist, Eric Grossman return Saturday, August 27th at 8:00 pm. This is the third event in this year's Friends of Classical Music season.

Accompanied by pianist Lida Lopez Mancheva, this year’s program will include Mozart’s Duo in B Flat for Violin and Viola for which Midhat Serbagi former violist for the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra will join him.

A Julliard graduate, Grossman has been hailed by The New York Times as a “brilliant soloist”. He’s known for his flawless technique, and for being a versatile performer. He has performed with numerous orchestras in the United States, Europe, Korea, Japan and Cuba and under renowned conductors including Zubin Mehta, Stanislaw Skrowaczewki and Michael Gielen.

Performing again at AotL on Lake Carmel, 640 Route 52, Kent Lakes, the venue provides the audience a rare opportunity to experience this superb musician in an intimate seating arrangement.

This event is presented by the Friends of Classical Music of Arts on the Lake.
