Painting with Alcohol Inks
Tues and Thurs, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Nov 6 – Nov 15
In this class you will be exploring the wonderful world of painting with Alcohol inks on yupo paper. If you’re new to painting, not to worry! Painting with alcohol inks leads to beautiful flowing results, whether it’s abstract or illustrative. During this workshop you will learn fun wet on wet techniques and the joys of applying texture with a variety of materials.
What are Alcohol Inks?
Alcohol inks are Acid-free, fast drying transparent coordinating dye inks specially formulated to create a colorful, polished stone effect.
What is yupo paper?
Yupo paper is a synthetic paper,
machine-made in the USA of 100% polypropylene. It is waterproof, stain resistant, and extremely strong and durable.
Class Schedule
1st week: Tuesday Nov 6th and Thursday Nov 8th
2nd week: Tuesday Nov 13th and Thursday Nov 15th

About the Instructor
Jeanette Rodriguez
Jeanette Rodriguez received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After 20+ years as a graphic designer, in 2010 she decided to pursue her passion in teaching.
Ms. Rodriguez has taught Alcohol Ink painting and Wire Wrapping in the Hudson Valley area, in Mayer Arizona and on the Big Island of Hawaii. She is the founder of “Soul Painting” which she teaches in various locations. She is the curator of the Front Street Gallery in Patterson NY and a member of ArtEast Dutchess.
