Tom Kersting will teach this 6-week course on writing poetry. Tom has 40 years of experience teaching poetry in area high schools and colleges, and many years of experience in writing poetry and leading successful writing workshops in New York and on Cape Cod. You can access his blog here. The workshop will open with two sessions on how poetry “unfolds” its meaning for a reader, followed by four sessions in which students create poetry through a variety of means and share guided responses to their poems in a small group. The workshop is limited to 8 to 10 students. Poets from beginning to experienced are welcome.
